Princeton, NJ – Systech International, a global leader in serialization, track-and-trace, authentication, and trusted consumer engagement, announced today that its UniSecure™ solution was recognized by the judges of the annual Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards program. The judging panel consisted of esteemed experts from system integrator and end-user companies.
Systech was honored with a Platinum-level award. UniSecure™ is a universal brand and product protection solution that can uniquely identify and register any single manufactured product. It can then track that individual product throughout the supply chain and authenticate it at any point via mobile app anywhere in the world.
UniSecure does it by generating a unique identification signature from an existing print mark or data carrier, such as a barcode. That unique signature is then stored in the Cloud for future authentication using a mobile app.
“Counterfeiters are becoming increasingly sophisticated allowing them to easily defeat current anti-counterfeiting technologies,” said Dave Henderson, vice president product engineering, Systech. “UniSecure levels the playing field because it allows brand owners to create a trusted engagement platform with consumers that can add and build upon a brand’s value. Systech’s roots began with vision inspection and advanced to serialization using vision. Now, we have evolved to the next level and offer the industry’s first patented, anti-counterfeiting product based on vision.”
