PRINCETON, NJ – (July 1, 2019) Systech has been selected as a 2019 recipient of an SDCE 100 Award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation. Additionally, during the AIPIA Summit of the Americas in New Jersey on June 4, 2019, Systech was named a winner in the Mondelēz Challenge.

The SDCE 100 is an annual list of 100 innovative supply chain projects. These projects can serve as a map for supply chain executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. Thisreport shows how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.

According to Supply & Demand Chain Executive, some of the other SDCE 100 Award winners were:
• Avnet
• Oracle
• Uber Freight

At the AIPIA Summit, more than a dozen active and intelligent packaging providers pitched their smart packaging ideas for Mondelēz’s large line of products. Three winners were chosen by senior Mondelēz executives—BlueBite, Systech and HP Indigo. All three winners will have follow-up conversations with the snack company.

Counterfeiting and product diversion are prevalent in all supply chains, including the food industry. Top brands like Mondelēz are at risk of compromising customer loyalty and billions in revenue due to tainted and/or counterfeit goods. Mondelēz is also challenged with cost-effectively enabling consumers to connect and engage with their brands, thus improving overall brand loyalty.

Commenting on the wins, Joe Belenardo, Senior Vice President, Systech said, “These awards are indicative of how Systech is dedicated to innovating the way brands secure their supply chain. Our technology is empowering companies across industries to protect their consumers, brand reputation and revenue from ever-evolving supply chain threats while introducing new ways to engage with consumers.”

Systech’s breakthrough brand protection technology is the only solution to use existing package barcodes to deliver real-time, end-to-end authentication—from manufacturing to the consumer’s hands.
